Miscellany

Outside mathematics, my greatest passion is fiction. I also write stories, and some of my work has been published in Science Fiction World, including 《黑漆》, 《纸条上的人生》, and 《刺杀数学家》.

I received the Best Novella Award at the 36th Galaxy Awards for 《刺杀数学家》.

In 《刺杀数学家》, μ, a model of a genius mathematician’s brain, evolves into the sole authority on mathematical truth. Society splits into cities above and below the clouds; those below strive to earn enough “contribution points” to ascend. When police officer Ma Jin investigates a series of murders, clues draw him back to his childhood friends and the mysterious disappearance of a mathematical prodigy.

The premise of this story is now gradually becoming reality…

If you are interested in reading these stories, I would be happy to share them with you.

I also enjoy badminton, volleyball, and hiking.
